Reviewers from the UK have had the following to say about them:

Anthology: Wry Out West

The Perfect Eerie Fireside Anthology. Wry Out West -  five stories of the supernatural set in the west of England, and while all are genuinely chilling they each have a subtle aftertaste of dry humour running through them.

‘With the possible exception of "3:05am" the tales have a definite "folk horror" feel about them -  rural landscapes, isolated communities, strange beliefs -  with enough period detail to set each scene and draw the reader in to witness some seriously eerie events unfold.

‘Highly recommended anthology, one for the winter fireside.’ ***** (Amazon UK reviewer).

A classy and chilling collection. Highly recommended. Dark, mysterious but humorous. I'm glad the tales are short as once started I could not stop! They straddle a span from times long passed to modern day. Well paced and compelling. The author is clearly a great observer of character and knowledgeable of the folklore and local legends... strange stuff which could be just bubbling beneath the surface in the here and now.’ ***** (Amazon UK reviewer).

Uncanny Tales

Another great collection. The stories have a good pace, well observed characters with a touch of dry humour. I love the way Bulstrode has captured the feeling that the past is not really so far away and events can weave us together with times long gone but clearly not forgotten. Some memories are long and vengeful!’ ***** (Amazon UK reviewer).
